- I have a sweet husband, Eric and awesome step-daughter Kory. We're expecting a bundle of joy in September. I am originally from the foothills of the Apalachian Mountains of east Tennessee. Eric is originally from Eldoret, Kenya and has the sweetest family. We've made our home in the Dallas area of Texas. We love our large families and enjoy spending time with them although we just don't get to often. We have an amazing church family that we love being a part of. We are blessed to worship with them. We've been part of Children's Church ministry and look forward to getting even more plugged in as we grow. I have been an elementary teacher for 6 years. I love teaching, but the politics of public education can sometimes take the joy out of the process of educating. Eric knows more about more topics than anyone I know. He's a business owner with a true entrepreneurial spirit. He's always looking for a new opportunity and a chance to learn.
